storm has started, totals?

lets here who gets the shovel award for the most snow from this storm. I have heard 16-22 inches is likely. the sled is pointed out.

It is what it is.

I would guess 18 inches before its over with 30 mph winds.

A huge mess. Maybe 2 hours with the snowblower or a call to my buddy with his bobcat.

Just starting to accumulate around here, flakes are getting bigger by the hour.

Haven't even looked at my sled yet this fall, I better get BUSY !

sunday is my 1st day off after the snow has stopped I want to put a good 70 miles on sunday after noon. tomorrow I am riding my sled to work. I can't wait.

Just got back from a midnight run! Put on about 15 miles. At times the visibility was not very good, but that fresh snow makes for great riding.

Wife wasn't used to all that fresh stuff on the trail and we had a minor technical difficulty while she was at the helm Nothing broken on humans or sled though, so that is all good

Got home and removed about 7" of snow from the driveway.

Round 1 is complete.

Im pumped. I went out before the storm started and was dodging rocks in the Elk River area so I ventured right back home. Cant wait to see how much we actually get. Sleds are running great though.

For laughs I tell people 8 miles north of Bejou but we are about 50 miles north of Detroit Lakes on 59.

Well, I cleared out another 5" a while ago and hit the trails for about 20miles.

we got 6 inches here in big lake, with another 12 on the way is perdicted. took the sled out so I could get her gassed up and ready to do some real riding satuarday.

At least 7 inches in the north metro (Hugo), I went out for about 30 miles today, man is it SWEET! Between our last storm and this one, it's shaping up into some pretty good riding. If you're not careful in the ditches, you can easily get sucked into the deep. I should easily put on 100 miles tomorrow before noon and then spend the rest of the day with the family. just checked the radar, lots of heavy snow coming in, all the way up to duluth. coming in from the south east. I am starting to believe the 20 inch perdictions.
