Best Giveaway You've Seen at Ice Fishing Contest??

Hey guys,

I think I'm in marketing for a local business and I'm thinking about being a vender or sponsor of the Brainerd Ice Extravaganza- what types of things would you like to see given away? (keep in mind.. I'm a smaller business- I can't give away coleman lanterns or leathermans )

Just looking for a few ideas maybe!

Gift Certificates are always good.

For lower priced items:

LED Headlamps. You can get the Energizer ones relatively cheap, and they are pretty decent.

Various jig kits.

I like CJH's recommendations. I would make a trip to a booth offering those items. If you are looking to gather peoples contact information, you could hold drawings for rod/reel combo's and such. If you are willing to mail the winning prizes, then you know that you are getting accurate contact information.

If its something you want your company's name on, I have seen some berkley line clippers with a company's name or logo on them. I'm not sure what something like that costs but it could be a good way to get your name out to fisherman.

I know the Brainerd Jaycees are really protective of sponsor's and won't allow vendors to conflict with any of the main event sponsors. Maybe check out their list of sponsors on the web site and go from there with ideas? Good idea though!
