So it looks like its finally going to cool down. Temps below freezing for over 7 days staight starting this Thursday. Should make some nice ice without snow. I couldn't be happier. Whos with me. I can't wait to get on the lake.

water temps on my home lake yesterday at 3:30 were 33.6 the low temp alarm on my humming bird was going off the whole trip =)))

Bring on the ice because I will be on Mille Lacs on Jan. 7th thru the 10th. I want plenty of ice to drive on by then.

I have the week of Dec 13th off work. If there is good ice by then, it will be all fishing for me. Moon phase looks favorable that week as well.
