For walleye and crappie? Going to go shoping for some new hooks soon just figure that get some info what is everybodys goto jigs for walleyes and crappies. thanks

I am a fan of the "Bro Bug" series that Northland manufactures for crappies. Look for things that Glow. If you want to tip your lure with plastic that glow like crazy, look at the Little Atom products like the Nuggies.

For Walleye's you can't go wrong with Buckshot rattle spoon or lindy rattl'n flyer.

For crappies I really like Diamond jigs, Fiska jigs or Bloodworms.

Walleyes, Bartman summed it up, Buckshot or Rattl'n Flyer. I'd also throw out Forage Minnow spoons and Forage Frys.

For Crappies = Ratso. It has a horizontal presentation for easy view on flasher screen with really low gain setting. Bring three or four different colors and home in on what they're looking for!

The last couple of ice seasons I've become a big fan of the Gamagatsu (sp) red and orange hooks for my deadstick.

#1 Demons. Green glow with red glow head.

#2 Forage Fry. Green glow with green/hologram side

#3 Bro Bug. Red Glow

#4 Buckshot Rattle Spoon. Every color, some with dropper rigs, some without.

#5 Gamakatsu Red Hooks. Several sizes.

Agreed, for a deadstick situation for Walleyes, or even if they are finicky and not taking active swimbaits/spoons, a #4 or #2 octopus hook in red, green, etc., from Gamakatsu with a lightly dorsal hooked shiner under a float just large enough to support it is a winner.

Demons(customjigsandspins.com)all the way for crappies! Green and glow or pink and glow are my go to colors.
