BobT
Too bad the thread got locked so quick. Anyway, here's the photos of my daughter's two bucks. Enjoy. I'm using Steve Foss' instructions so hope this works. Just kidding Steve, your instructions were very clear and easy to follow. This is the first deer she took in the morning. Broadside shot through the lungs. He wasn't going very far. One antler was broke off and she was hesitant to touch him because he bled through his nose and mouth. I guess there's still some girliness in her. I asked her to take the knife but she wasn't too keen on the idea. She did help me process him though. Here's her 6-pointer. Took him from the front lower neck. Dropped him in his tracks. Smaller buck too but it was worth it.

brittman
Agree the .243 cartridge is good for deer. Kids need to shoot what is comfortable for them to handle.

lakevet
Great pics! Any with the whole crew in the picture? I think she will be willing to wheel you and your wheelchair out to the stand when you get old. That's what I am hoping my boys will do for me!lakevet
