harvey lee
Who will cause the big one this weekend?Who will win?I'm going with Stewart or Gordon and maybe Rowdy to cause the big one with 1 to go in turn 4.
gr8icefishinmind
What would really make me happy is to see jimmy johnson get in a big wreck! He never seems to get into any type of accident during the race....probably cause he is always leading!! Anyways.....i would really like to see jimmy wreck big! I think that Wablo has a very good chance in this race or tony stewart!
LMITOUT
I'd like to see Martin in a lap one wreck just so we can get the crying and complaining about superspeedways out of the way early.

Rippinlip
Thinking JR will cause it late trying to block someone, he needs to finish up front sometime and I am thinking he will do what it takes this weekend to be in the front. I am thinking he needs to justify his spot in the Hendricks stable, lets see Johnson, Gordon, Martin, 1st 3 positions in the points.....Stewart and Newman with Hendricks power in the chase. JR is where?
gregg52
THE 5 LEADS THE MOST LAPS AND WINSI THINK JR GOING TO BE UP THERE MAYBE SOMEBODY LIKE LAGANO RUNS UP CLOSE TO FRONT ALL DAY FINISHES 2ND JOHNSON IN THE BIG ONE FINISHES 38TH OR WORSE PRETTY WISHFUL THINKIN HUH ???? harvey lee
BORING. I'll check in for the last 20.
LMITOUT
NASCAR has ruined this race too with their knee-jerk rules. I would love to see the Chase leaders fall back to the rear and just ride the entire race. I'm sure the fans would really love to see that. Please remind me again, are we racing automobiles or playing tiddlywinks?
Neighbor_guy
DJ refered to the last "driver boycot" when they all just agreed to line up and ride around for 500 laps. Looks alot like they are doing it again today. Hook up and ride around. Why even bother....
Neighbor_guy
Tony just had an exchange w/his crew cheif about how booring the race was. Said to let him know when there was 30 to go so they could race....this is sad...
LMITOUT
I didn't hear the boycott comment. That is awesome. I hope they line up and ride around for 150+ laps since you can't race anymore due to NASCAR's nanny rules.
SpitnArgueDuckClub*
Get ready boys the real racing is just about to start.
fishinchicks
Typical. All the ones I chose got caught up in wrecks at the end. Gee Mr France, your new rule really helped keep the driving clean, and accident free. What a loser.
LMITOUT
Nice job by ABC squeaking in the post race interviews (all five min worth) so they don't have to interrupt a vacuum infomercial starting at the top of the hour. Unbelievable.
fishinchicks
I refuse to watch when ABC broadcasts the races. I watch the live leaderboard on my computer instead. Hubby will call me in every once in awhile if anything exciting happens (providing he is awake for it).
harvey lee
I refuse to watch plate races anymore. They are simply ride around for 3 hours and then watch them crash. This race is all luck. Just ask Jimmy Johnson.
LMITOUT
And why do they ride around and hope for the best at the end? Because of NASCAR and their horrible rules. There is nobody to blame but themselves for putting a poor product on the track.
Rippinlip
Thank God that Ryan is allright. As afar as racing goes, boriiiiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggggg. How about this, 5-8 cars per heat and they are 5 lap races, winner to feature. Where they race for 10 laps..Atleast the crashes would be more frequent....Just kiddingNot looking for crashes or injuries, but Superspeedways are NOT racing..... jwhjr
I was busy out in the garage today and turned the race on with about 25 to go. Once the football game started I flipped back to the race just in time for Newman's crash. Sounds like that was the only excitement for the race. Too bad a crash is the only thing worth mentioning. I guess I didn't miss much.
gregg52
talladega isnt racin !!!!!you go to the track they give you shocks..springs...platesthen tell how to drive your race car !!!where does racon come in thatride around in the back of the field wait for every body to wreck and end up 6th IS THAT RACIN ????I bet their T.V. rating drop now thank god farve is here something fun to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!! tunrevir
I watched them ride around for a bit today untill they all started "racing" single file about 25 laps into the race. I was on the edge of my seat and then out the door to the deer stand. Plate races stink, make it 25 laps and it might be more interesting but then it would still end up being 50 laps because of cautions and green white checker finishes. Maybe instead of a restrictor plat they just make everyone run a 4 cylinder, it keeps the speeds down, the crashes would be minimal and everyone could still tune it out because it was boring My team sure took a hit this week! candiru
To see a guy not even try to race and finish 6th is something else. His crew chief is a dang genious.
Neighbor_guy
You hear the drivers talk about it, they HATE it. None of them like comming to this race. They all think of it as a joke, not a race. Johnson -6th Waltrip -7th All they did was ride around all day. Stupid.... The only "entertaining" thing about the race today was counting how many times Brad Wreckalowski bashed into someone and tried to crash 'em out. Think we may need to make a game out of it . Me thinks his new boss will be talking to him about that. After all, it was his hiting Kurt(his soon to be team mate) that caused the final may-lay. LMITOUT
Tough to say for sure. Vickers was behind Keselowski and had plenty of his bumper up under Brad pushing him too. They never did show a good view to know for sure. In the end it really didn't matter because if it wasn't at that spot, someone else would have wrecked sooner or later they way they were going at it.
