I just can't see who would step up to challenge them, what with factory funding getting tighter.

I read today that with the Fiat take over of Chrysler there is a good possibility that all Dodge cars will disappear by 2012. There will only be Dodge trucks. Back to just the Fords and GM's again on the race track.

I think the playing field may level a bit this next year as Rousch and Childress seem to have started gaining ground on the hendrick teams in recent weeks. Childress has certainly showed they are working to get the teams back on track and Rousch has had some good showings the past few weeks as well. Jimmy and Chad are tough to beat but you look at the chemistry on that team and all of the other teams pitching in to repair a car to get them back on track that is tough for any team to go up against. I can't recall all of the rousch or Childress teams lending a hand to get a car back on the track like HMS did for Jimmy and chad 2 weeks ago. That is definately a tough obstacle for other teams to overcome. I wonder if keslowski and Kurt busch will have the same working relationship if one of them crash? Interesting to think about!

thing is i think these guys use the first 26 for testing almost

i dont want to get into to how they should change the chase

but i dont think these guys give everything sure they want to win but if not so what we in the top5 in points

maybe they need to give more points for 1st and maybe even 2nd and 3rd so guys hafta race harder all year rather than just run in the top 10

i dunno

cause its obvious these guys step it up in the last 10 races

what they have 4-5 in the chase and 2-3 in 26

just not the same anymore?

Looks like the other teams are starting to find a way to beat them up a bit, and make them look like the rest.

Hopefully they can get it back up and running, and start winning races!

Sled, there are plenty of teams with deep pockets.

HMS has simply surrounded themselves with very knowledgable people.

Chad Knaus is more than likelty the best and smartest crew chief in the game. Same goes for Ray Evernham when he worked for HMS with Jeff.

All teams have motors about the same and cars to set up for the race. HMS simply is better at it.

How many times have we watched JJ go down a lap or maybe two and come back to finish in the top 5 or 10? Thats a great crew chief and driver that work well together.

NASCAR has cut back on teams that can be owned and some places the amount of tires they can use.

Maybe HMS, Childress and Rousch should give there secrets away to the other teams so they also can go a bit faster.

If we want to watch IROC racing, then lets go that route and forget about who gets the job done with hard work.
