MNDNR # on wheelhouse?

I have a new wheelhouse, first one for me. I want to put my MNDNR # on the door. The door is a crinkly surface so I don’t think the stick on numbers would stay on there. I don’t want to paint the numbers directly on the door. What have others done to put the number on the house?

Straight from the DNR HSOforum:

Complete name and address, driver’s license number, or the

nine digit Minnesota DNR number on the license of the owner plainly and legibly displayed on the outside in letters, and figures at least 2 inches in height.

Retired good to see you back on line! I will have to meet up with you this winter.

DO NOT SCREW INTO THE DOOR. I used a thin piece of aluminum or you could use tin too.MAKE SURE TO HIT STUDS of course. Use 2 inch reflective numbers. Put your MN DNR # on it.. IT must be door side though. Your shelter license can be taped on the inside of your window (Doorside) CO on Osakis says it is fine. My dad has plexi glass and screwed to siding by door and DNR number.

What kind of house did you get???

Take care,

Kid

I got an Ice Castle Sport Angler. It is 6.5 X 14 V nose. It also has the 2x3 rectangular steel frame instead of the usual Ice Castle angle iron. I also got a Polaris Ranger HD with the glacier II plow set up to get it out on the ice.

For my portable, I've printed my DNR number on a piece of legal sized paper (8.5" x 11"), then brought it to Office Max to have them laminate it. I think it costed a total of $2.00 to get it laminated. Not sure how you could attach it to your house... I put mine in one of the window sleeves of the portable.
