It may get a little tougher, but I don't think it has ever been a secret that there are big boys in there. A 44 yard shot on a buck like that.... very impressive!! I'll take his 4 year old brother next week if I get the chance

Any word on it's field dressed weight ? It's nice to know that a 5th rack deer can turn into that possibly. What a beauty.

I believe that I read it dressed out at 192 lbs. There is a nice photo montage & story on the Field & Stream HSOforum that I came across this morning

heard on the radio this morning it greened 228". in two months after it can be officially scored, unfortunately, he just may not make the new state nontyp record. bummer, but then again, ya never know! i'm sure i could make room on the wall for that specimen.
