Favre is good it's the play calling that's bad. Why would you play for field go when down by one at the end of the game. You know a field goal by the other team would then win it. Didn'g Favre have three TD's in the redzone? Let him pass a couple for cripes sake!!

Fear of the interception and ultimately ending the game in that manner resulted in the nutless play calling I'm afraid. But in the end we won.

We have to stop playing 15 yards off the recievers in my worthless opinion. I'd like to see a little more contact with them coming off the line, especially after the other team figures out they can't run on us.

I have to say I agree about that too(not the worthless part!!). I just wonder if there is a reason for that though? Could it be the Vikings defensive coordinators do not think the corners can handle a little bump? I thought we had safeties back there in case a WR got past our CB's? Or is it maybe the coaches do not have much confidence in our safeties so they want to play the corners back "just in case"?

This team has retained two of its long-term fatal flaws; an inconsistent secondary and a weak right side on the line on Offense.

Overall, they have plenty enough against most teams.

Come the playoffs, they may fold like a cheap suit.

Pittsburgh and GB away will be good tests.

Peterson up the middle isn't being used because it's effective, but because it helps the play action for Favre.
