awww I thought I would atleast make it further then gardy. I vote we fire the entire coaching staff and then have high expectations for next year that will ultimatly dissapoint us and dont forget we will blame the umps for jobing us all year long.

Convince me that the staff is better than .500 and can teach fundamentals and they can keep their jobs. We see the same mistakes in the field, on the bases and from the pitching staff. Either the players are stupid or the staff can't coach.

Maybe we could just trade all of the Twins players and coaches to the National league for the Chicago Cubs and have a grin consistant winner. grin

you kidden me. i dont understand why you all want the twins to be fired and let go. maybe we should hit the ball when we have 17 guys on base in a 11 inning game, or not throw a fastball over the heart of the plate to A rod to win the game!

Think about it!

These started back in August, when everyone stabbed the Twins with a fork, then proclaimed they never got off board then on gain then off again. We should give them spoons and maybe a spork down the road.

Here I am! I said stick em! If I could name one, I'd say Go-Go, not for tripping around second but taking up a roster space, get someone that can hit at least .250

I almost agree with you there. But there is something in baseball that is has always been held in high regards...potential. Not that I think he has much, but someone must. In his defense he is still very young, and still does not have all that much experience. Personally I could care less if they got rid of him. We all know the guys we NEED to keep around. The Twins have a very good core of players that could be something special. But I also think they are a few more guys away from getting over the proverbial "hump". I would really like to see the Twins get a couple more pieces to the puzzle this year.

We all would, but that doesn't happen with the current ownership. They are right now counting the dollars they made this year, telling themselves it was a good year. All knowing that if they keep their product just good enough, it will last and last and last until we say enough is enough by not going to the games.

Okay.... not a FIRE EVERYONE TAKE... but things I would do..

#1. Gotta lock up Mauer... It is gonna cost a ton, there is always injury risk and what, really more does he have to prove..

#2. I think you send Go-Go down and let him play everyday. We know he will be the first call up if we have an injury, this way we don't have the "who should play the outfield" dilemma.

#3. I think you look right now into extending Span and Cuddy... I know I will get some heat for the Cuddy idea, but he is what he is... clubhouse leader, solid right handed bat, good defensive player(no matter what the rest of you think, he is) and I think he is one of those guys who will sign at a bit of a discount to stay here. He is position flexible as well... OF, 1B, DH, I still think he could play 3B in a tight spot

#4. Sign Cabrera... I like the consistancy at shortstop... he isn't a great glove or great bat, but he is solid and I think he likes playing here

#5. Do something roster wise so Punto is NOT an everyday player at one position... I like Nick Punto, but he isn't a everyday 2nd baseman, SS or 3rd baseman. He is a great 4 times a week start at various positions to give guys days off as well as a great late inning runner and defensive replacement.

I'm on board with the coaching staff....

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
