fishin58
The streak will continue and the Vikes will be up by 17 at halftime. TJ will start the second half and Ap will also be shut down for the day. Look for a lot of hand-offs to Chester and yes the Vanilla KAO. Bert does not need to get banged up versus the Rams and he will not gain anything from going against there second half defense. ANd yes, this will bring all the haters out in full force because TJ will run the Vanilla KAO to a T and will get 120 yards passing with no turnovers and he will be blasted Monday for not being able to read a defense when all he did was finish the game and get the win. koonie
I wanna see AP go for 250 and 3 touchdowns. I don't mind watching Favre throws a few but there is just something about seeing AP break out into the open and head for the zone.Vikings 34Rams
Harmonica Bear
I like your thinking, but my guess is 4 plays the whole game, barring injury. Would you be able to handle life if Sage was put in instead?
fishin58
no I am also going against AP in FF, so I would like to see him get his yards but no td's!!
analyzer
If the Cleveland and Detroit games are any indication, we'll struggle in the first half, and bury them in the 2nd. 49ers and packers followed that recipe against the Rams as well. Swimbait2009
I think that's just a commitment to the run game. It always takes some time to put up points on the ground, barring a big breakout run. Every defense in the NFL is going to come out with energy and focus at the beginning of the game. They wear down throughout the game, and that's why you see running teams finally seem to find their strides towards the second half of games. This is more a result of the defense wearing down, rather than any major adjustment on the offensive side of the ball. No matter who is behind center, a throwing play is MUCH more turnover-prone than a running play. As long as STL isn't putting points on the board, we'll keep the ball in AP's and Taylor's hands to grind it out. Favre will take a couple shots, which should succeed, but his numbers on the day will probably be somewhere around 185 and 1 TD. Both AP and Taylor will be in the 150yd range, with AP scoring 1-2TDs and Taylor scoring once. Prediction: 24-10 VIKES WIN!
bassNspear
AP might have the biggest game of his life this sunday! At least, lets hope if hes on your FF teams! I am looking for a monster week out of him!
FISHINGURU
I am also going against AP in FF, so I would like to see him get his yards but no td's!! only a packer fan wouldn't want AP to score td's and also sabotage the vikes with junkson being the qb!!!! Born2Fish
My brothers father-in-law is down in STL to watch the game first hand....As a RAMS FAN! I think he will have a pretty horrible day on Sunday, considering he also bought 5 other tickets and gave them to Vikings fans to go with him.... we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted October 11, 2009 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted October 11, 2009 only a packer fan sabotage the vikes with junkson being the qb!!!! And only a GB fan would name call our Vikings. Calling Jackson "Junkson" is something a true GB fan would do.

FISHINGURU
we want junkson to get out there against lousy tired teams so he can try to look good to up his trade value which is nothing right now....playing a winless team is easy enough...now your talking a winless team at the end of the game that just got pounded on for 3 hours. RumRiverRat
What could he have done to impress you in that performance?Aaron Nothing, he would have proven nothing against a terrible defense.Until he shows he can run an offense and read a defense he will be mediocre. And I'm not picking on you here. But this sums up pretty much everything right here for the people that don't like the guy. No matter what he does, he isn't going to impress you. He could look like a Hall of Fame QB (NOTE: I'm not saying that he did!) and people wouldn't be impressed because it wasn't in the right situation for them. People will find a way to rip him no matter what he does or how he looks. (Case in point, we find issue with how he wears his hat!)It must suck to be forced to see everything in that kind of light. LMITOUT
How stupidly he wears his hat isn't the entire issue, it was the vacant look in his face like he had no clue what he was doing as a NFL QB. The QB of a team is supposed to be a leader. This isn't the look of a leader ready to take charge, but rather someone who just missed the short bus:

AWH
We aren't willing to take ANYTHING from T-Jack's last performance ON the field during a regular season game because it was garbage time. But we ARE willing to rip the guy for a PICTURE taken of him on the sidelines of a PRE-SEASON game in GARBAGE time. Makes sense to me. Lends a lot of credibility to the side that bashes him!LMIT, I'm glad I could help you out with your arguement by reminding you about the hat. You're welcome!I wonder if his shoes were tied? If only they had a picture of that too. Then we could know for sure if he could play football!Aaron
james_walleye
Call me crazy but Jackson has had more than ample opportunity to impress everyone here. When you see an "old washed up 40 year old" playing QB and lighting things up it brings alot into perspective. You see how the offense has opened up with a QB who can read the field? When you see how Chilly is able to open the playbook right now it sheds even more light on just how far away Jackson is from being a QB that is ready to lead a team of this caliber. And your missing the point on what alot of us are saying. We arent bashing the guy. We just arent going to give him props for a comeback win against an 0-16 team. We arent going to give him props for beating an AZ team who had mailed in the regular season. We arent going to stroke him for beating the giants 2nd and 3rd stringers. We arent going to give him all kinds of praise for a drive against the rams. If other people want to "forget" the circumstances that go right along with any decent performance he has had, thats fine, go ahead. If this guy ever leads this team again into a season as the starter, it will be a lost season, period!

If this guy ever leads this team again into a season as the starter, it will be a lost season, period! If that last statement isn't bashing him, I'd hate to see what you consider bashing! To put things into perspective, instead of bashing (I know, no one is bashing him), maybe we should be calling out the Vikings organization for not bringing in a QB that is BETTER than T-Jack until this year. People will rip on the guy to no ends for being the BEST QB of a group of below average QBs over his career. Is this his fault he has been thrust into a starting role when he would have been much better served to do exactly what he's doing this year?I know the arguement is that he's "received ample opportunity". But is receiving "ample opportunity" before he's ready fair to the guy? Everyone that's against the guy fails to address why a guy that is brought into the league and labeled as a PROJECT should not be allowed more time to develop than the guys that come into the league as "NFL ready" yet still take 2 to 4 years to establish themselves.I also like the people that rip on T-Jack's mechanics as a reason he will never do well. I guarantee you that there will never be a video on proper QB mechanics that uses Brett Favre as an example. But he's done alright for himself.Personally, I hope the Vikings do go out and get a top tier QB to take over after Favre calls it quits again. But if they don't, I'd much rather have T-Jack behind center than a guy like Sage.Aaron
