As of today in my 10 man league Im 3-2 its frustrating, should be doing far better. Lost weeks 1 and 2 even though I scored the second most points the guys I played put up the most...

Overall in 3rd place with my record and increasing my total points lead each week.

my roster.

QB-Peyton Manning

QB-Eli Manning (thanks for having your worst week on Peytons bye)

WR-Brandon Marshall

WR-Steve Smith (giants)

WR-Hines Ward

WR-Greg Jennings

RB-Michael Turner

RB-Thomas Jones

RB-Ricky Williams

TE-Owen Daniels

TE-Dustin Keller

K-Ryan Longwell

DST-Giants

DST-Denver

Looks like Im gonna take a loss this week after starting Giants D, Eli and smith unless Marshall puts on a clinic tonight.

Starting any defense that is going against the Saints is probably not a great play. Why didn't you start Denver instead?

Rodgers

Garrard

AP

Ray Rice

Felix Jones

Lashon McCoy

Roddy White

Devin Hester

Kevin Walters

Kenny Britt

Dallas Clark

Zach Miller

Houston K

Carolina K

MN Def

Seattle Def

My 2nd starting reciever spot is a weakness although Hester has been solid.

Honestly have no good excuse crazy. I guess Ive just gotten into a habit of not worrying about my D and was worrying too much about other positions. Live and learn...

Yeah in our ESPN league the scoring is a little bit too much. When a guy scores 55 points(Brady), I think that is a tad too much. Though I also play on Facebook and my team has been pretty dominant(up until this week!!). I am currently 4-1 but I need about 68 points from Orton, Moreno and Gates combined. It is a LONG shot, but then again, NE did put up 59 points.

brady did have 6td passes and 380 yards passing, that's an above average day.

I'll be 4-2 after this week and in 2nd in a 10 man league behind someone who's 5-1, so I like my chances.

Here's my team:

QBs: Peyton Manning and Joe Flacco

RBs: Michael Turner, Joseph Addai, Julius Jones, and Correll Buckhalter

WRs: Calvin Johnson, Lee Evans, Percy Harvin, and Donnie Avery

TEs: Antonio Gates and John Carlson

K: Lawrence Tynes

Def: Saints and Redskins

After this week I'm dropping the Skins defense to pick up Sydney Rice. After that barring injury I shouldn't have to make a move til week 10 when I'll need a kicker.

I do have a facebook team that's just me, my 2 brothers and my sister. I'm going to fall to 1-5 in that league as I seem to get barely outscored every week.

You are painfully weak at WR and RB. I agree with your pickup of Rice, but you better trade Flacco for another RB and Saints D and Carlson for another WR. Megatron is hurt more than they're letting on (I think) and the rest of your corps are WR3s at best.

IFallsRon, you shouldn't ever think of benching Brees. Giants had a pretty formidable defense going into that last game and Brees still torched em!

UdeLakeTom, that's a tough one...Ben has been known to make some poor decisions, so there's always the fumble/INT potential from the D's that he faces. The Texans run game is struggling, but the niners aren't exactly known for shutting down a big passing attack. I've talked myself into starting vikes against Ben. They're will be points scored in both games, and Ben gives you better turnover opportunities. Take it to the bank! smile

I can't wait til after this week. My bye weeks are over and I'll have Ray Rice, Ronnie Brown, Steve Slaton, and Matt Forte ready for work every week! The colder weather also favors Forte to pick his game up as the Bears will need the running game to keep the offense clicking. For receivers I'll have all my boys for the rest of the season too: Reggie Wayne, Donald Driver, Sims-Walker, and Miles Austin. I like my chances!

Oh, oh, under .500 for the first time. Went into last nite needing points from Manning, Breaston and Fitzgerald....Hakeem Nicks outscored them for the other team.

Those ESPN projections are bogus. Don't play Sproles, LT is back. Drop Clayton (DAL), he is moving out of position.

crazy

The only guy that worked for me was Benson, and I had to trade Randy Moss to get him...Also got McGahee in the deal.

I agree that you should not play Sproles other than in a FLEX position where return yards/TDs count, but disagree that LT is back. Back in the lineup, yes, but not back to dynamic status. He's lost a lot of his burst through the hole, and that bleeds away his confidence when he does see a hole. He is a RB2 at this point, which is too bad since he was the best not so very long ago!

Crayton in Dallas has always been a poor route runner, and when Miles Austin runs routes like he's following John Madden's telestrator, there isn't much room for him. Yeah he's the third receiver, but with Williams, Austin, and Witten he's the fourth option at best. Factor in the fact that the RBs are more dynamic playmakers catching passes and now he's the 5th option sometimes. While he is sure to have a couple big games, he's not what you want to rely on for a fantasy squad.

Too bad McGahee has fallen off the map, but so far Benson looks like a more valuable addition to your team. Depending of course who you have on the depth chart behind Moss. If you picked up Sims-Walker and Miles Austin (I did! smile ) then you're sitting pretty.

i was worried about slaton a few weeks back, but hes picking it up now and starting to have great games! Helps when there winning as well!

I was lucky enough to trade McGahee for Slaton after week 2. I also drafted Ray Rice (McGahee was the handcuff) and Ronnie Brown who I am VERY happy with. Not so happy with my 1st round pick: Matt Forte. I'll hopefully be able to trade him and McNabb for another stud receiver. I think Forte should improve as the year goes on and the weather gets colder. Especially after Cutler wasn't so shiny yesterday.
