Wanderer
I used to put my boat in storage on the way to deer camp in November every year. Didn't even have to call the guy - he knew I'd be there the Friday before Opener. But now I bowhunt. Not much fall fishing for me anymore. I did get out once last October for a day though and got a slap in the face reminder of what I gave up. I caught so many fish that day, I called it "Stupid good". ShoreGuy1984
This is making me really depressed. I swear, the opener was not even that long ago, and now its almost time to put the bass gear away for the long freeze. I usually call it quits when the lakes turn over. Does the fishing ever get any better a couple weeks after the lakes turn?
