That actually sounds pretty good to me. I have not fished the lower parts of the river much at all. Do you think I will have any of the troubles you had with e-mails if I post mine on here? I'm not sure what actually happened but I figured I would ask to you be sure.

I made it out again today, caught one and lost another one at the boat. Pretty slow.

No, probably not! But why don't you just email me, cause my address has been viewed on here already. My address is [email protected]. Just email me your phone number and I'll give ya a call. I think were going to try the harbor and maybe the nemadji too. Plan on meeting at loons foot at 5:00 pm. I got a white ford explorer with a black Lund boat. Look forward to getting on the water with a fellow fm"er. Ps-beer?

Busted out the Burt and ernie call again today. Nebegamon=6 walleyes, 6 pike, 4 smallies, 2 suckers, bunch of perch and blue gills. AJ had a walleye up to the boat that was an easy 5#. it was during a double, I could not get net in time. Fun fun day on the water. On a side note, all fish were released!!!

Weekend Report

Fished the St Louis Friday morning by Boy Scout Landing, one little walleye and a small sturgeon. Lots of boats in the area.

Fished the Bay in front of Barkers on Sat morning and not much luck. One small walleye in 3 hours.

Sunday fished by Boy Scout Landing and managed 3 small walleyes but the boating traffic was thick. Then went into a bay by Billings Park and also McClures and managed a few crappies in each but not much size.

Slow weekend for me, but I haven't been out much, so it was good just to wey a line.

Best day of fishing thus far for me yesterday. Caught about 20 walleyes and lots of smallies blue gillz and crappies. ULSC.... New favorite lake. Live bait for me, none of that gulp [PoorWordUsage]. Heading up to Tofte mn now for some great fishing. Hopefully I can keep the luck coming.

Finally got the boat in at Minnesuing last night. Got out this morning from 6-8am before heading off to work. First 30 minutes were re-familiarizing with the boat (this will be the second summer with it). Missed a bunch of fish and got one largemouth that went about 1.25 pounds. Also got one Smallie that went about 2.5 pounds. Both fish caught and all the misses were on top. No hits on the lipless crank or spinnerbait. Hoping to get out Sunday AM before work too.

Sherpa and I hit ULSC yesterday in his ruddy boat. Trolling battery went weak so it got a little tough to hold on some key spots. Nevertheless we caught fish. A few northern, few smallies, few crappies, rock bass and a perch, and 2 walleyes that were just shy of 15". Also lots and lots of blue gills. Missed a lot of fish too, some of which I am sure were walleyes upon arriving to the honey hole right away. Awe well, we'll get em next time. Oh yeah, all fish returned back to the water! We'll be hitting the SLR today! smile

Got out on Minnesuing this morning. Of course, no rain as I was untying the boat, rain starts as I pull out from the dock and doesn't stop for the two hours I was out. 2 small largies and one so-so smallie. All on top.

Nebagemon tonight. Nice night. Caught some gillz, perch, and a few bass (largies and smallies). But no eyes like the last few times I've been out. However we ran out of bait at prime time so who knows. I am banking we would of got a couple had we not ran out of live bait.

Nebagemon produced tonight. 4 eyes, 5 or 6 bass (smallies and largies) ( think theyvare about done spawning now so the hunger frenzy is on.), 1 pike, and lots of gillz and perch. Did keep the eyes tonight as well as 1 perch (jumbo). I have been releasing eyes on nebagemon all year so far, so I did not feel that bad finally taking a limit home. 15" and a 16", the bigger ones were 17"s and they went back to the water. On a side note, I'm sure you all know about the eye release program for this lake. Put all eyes 18" back, it's good for the eye population on nebagemon.

Did up Nebagamen yesterday with Sherpa and his brother who's visiting from the cities. Real windy, I mean REAL windy. Caught 5 pike (biggest was 27 1/2"),a smallie, a giant blue gill, 6 perch, and only 1 Walter (small). Fun day with good company. Stopped at Rapids on the way home and won 100$ in shake a day. Sherpa won like 3 free drinks, and his brother a 12 pack. We were wondering why we weren't getting into wallows on the water, then it became clear. Our luck was being saved for dice.

Amnicon on Saturday. Caught lots of gillz, perch, and large mouth. Only 1 walleye that was 16" (released). Heard from a friend of mine that some guy and his wife caught 6 eyes, with nothing less than 24". Kept them!!! Way to hurt a small lake eye population. Very disapointed to hear that!

Lyman today. 8 walleyes (small (released)), perch and a few keeper size crappies (biggest 12").

Fished Minnesuing yesterday from 3-8pm. Kinda windy at first. Lake really calmed down around 6:00 ish. Three largies (biggest about 3lb), one smallie (emphasis on small), and oh about seven snot-rockets (none over 20 inches). Smallie and two largies on top-water, one largie and two pike on a Husky Jerk, and the rest of the snot-rockets on a fire-tiger spinnerbait. Oh yeah, I REALLY LOVED WATCHING THOSE GUYS BLOWING OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE BOAT RAMP POWER LOADING THEIR BOAT WITH THE HUGE MOTOR FOR 45 SECONDS. EVERYBODY WITH A LONGER BOAT TRAILER SENDS OUT THEIR DEEPEST, WARMEST REGARDS. THANKS FOR LEAVING THAT BIG OL' EDGE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CONCRETE, REALLY, REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS AGAIN. Ya know, have they EVER heard of aiming your boat, gliding it onto the trailer, and MAYBE taking one for the team if you miss and get your tootsies a little wet? Apparently not these clowns.

Fished ULSC yesterday from 11:00 to 9:15. Storm was fun to watch to the north. Stayed sunny and nice on the lake. Good thing I didn't go to the river or nebagemon. Anyway gotta love ulsc!!! 3 eyes (15") 6 smallies (16" 17" 18") and some small ones. Probably a dozen nice gillz, 2 crappies, small northern, and a perch. Great day reeling in fish. Everything released!
