It was pretty fun last night, although I didn't play especially well. The Riot shields and throwing knives would have been more fun if some of us weren't using shotguns and rocket launchers!!!

Agreed, one of the funniest parts was "Dietz look out behind....oh never mind". I happened to have a view of that when it went down.

The worst part of the evening came early when it was just p.insanity, Dietz, and I playing when the wife got mad and dumped the kids on me downstairs...still covered in lasagna from dinner. Didn't take long for them to start fighting and yelling at each other...had to take a break from the game for awhile, lol. Went upstairs and my dinner was thrown away so I made a pit stop at the local bar for a beer and some grub. Came back in time to play another hour with you guys.

Are all of you guys planning on buying Black Ops?

I have mine on hold! Might not be a bad idea to do a couple private matches to explore the maps before we go play online! Id be down for that.

Wait till black ops. Learn that game you'll be fine starting fresh like everyone else. after a while you will get the hang of it

Agreed. I think the biggest key to being successful at these games is knowing the maps and general tendencies of players...Even more so than good shooting and quick reflexes.

If you start out in the beginning with everyone else you will see much better success, guaranteed.

Good times last night. Darren kill on Derail last night. Call in those air strikes and choppers is killer to getting good kill totals. I held back a little last night on the lobby smack. Playing with people I know.

I couldn't believe they weren't shooting my chopper down. It's like duh, change your class for a stinger and light it up. As it was, I think my chopper alone killed everyone on their team at least twice mabye three times (got the kill 10 enemies with a single killstreak reward deal).

Do you remember what it was called? Cuz I got one with my pavelow and harrier last night. Kill the entire enemy team in ten seconds.

I have already received that award for knifing the whole team in the first 10 seconds. And I got it last night with the killstreak reward. So must be a omnicide for a few different instances.

Quick scoping is using slight of hand pro as your perk with a sniper rifle. they put the cross hairs on you and mount the gun so its going to scope view, but they shoot before the guns mounted and you die. Search it on youtube.

Drop shot is when they are running towards you and they drop to the ground while shooting you.

in black ops if they do that it takes a second to remount the gun to their shoulder before they can start to fire

Last night was fun. Maybe we should just hold down one corner of the map from now on? I kinda wish the opposing team had some mics so we could hear them whine.

Took my PS3 apart tonite. Am going to order a new power supply tomorrow from a place in LaCrosse. Hopefully it comes before tuesday. There was so much dust inside- if that was me, I wouldn't work either.

I had my Xbox fail on me this past week, I took it a part and it was so dirty in there. I also have a PS3, and was thinking about taking it apart to just clean out the inside, how hard was it to disassemble?

There is a "dust removal option" trick for making your fans blow high speed to blow dust out. I never tried it because I heard its bad for your ps3 causing it to over heat.

I'll probably pick up Medal of Honor, since I've got Black Ops on pre-order through Wal-Mart.

I'm assuming most are switching next week anyways?

Ps3's are easy to take apart, but they're kind of tricky to put back together...The plastic pieces are a bear to snap back together.

What's up with the Live update? Should have been out today. Supposed to change the entire dashboard. Get ready for lol. "Looks like PS3's dashboard"

I never postedy video, but last week Tues. night Live was hacked pretty bad. Every match (public) from ground war to TDE was a count down nuke the entire match plus more. I will post my video but YouTube has video from within PM's about a month ago. Hope it fixes that.

Just got done trading @ Best Buy. Piece of cake. I traded my MW2 and Madden 11 and received a gift card for$ 60 on site. For those that don't know, BB is going to start selling used games too.

You can gat a good price on lot of games as they're trying to build their inventory.

Not all stores do it though. You have to check BB's HSOforum.
