Exactly, this simple concept gets lost on many. If you earn them the "honest" way they do count...at least until you die. Once you die they stop counting towards your new kill streak (unlike COD4).

I have mine set to 5 - P. Missle, 7 - Attack Heli, and 9 - Pavelow.

Pavelow doesnt count if you have died atleast once. Say for example you die then get a 9 killstreak and call in a pavelow the kills from it wont count towards your next killstreak if you have one equiped. I heard that sentry gun was the same but apparently not.

Last nights Ground War was a blast.... between DTROS 6 man kill with Precision air strike and My 5 man kill with the Predator drone.... And..... all the other aircraft called in..... It was one of those nights of RAIN>>>PAIN>>and DEATH from above.... for the other team.
