On PS3...COD Modern Warfare has done a big number to the amount of people that play socom at night. There used to be over 12,000 people playing ever night and know your lucky if there is 6000. I'm going to pick up MW2 tomorrow so i can see what its all about.

S&D is OK, but "Ricochet S&D" is alot better. In W&W there would always be a couple lamebrains that would kill their teammates intentionally, can't do that in ricochet. If they try, they die instead

dtro ill be on tonight. i accepted your request last night but was playing borderlands. pretty sweet game, but ill switch back tonight. ive been doing really well with a silenced holographic ump45. i dont need acogs to hit from distance. the key is to just get them in your sight and fire two bursts so the recoil doesnt act up. ive had a couple people tell me after games they couldnt believe i hit them that far away without it. and the nuke sucks. my friend unlocked it and we did a private match just to see it. lame!!!

Unfortunately it won't be for a while since my XBOX bought the farm last night. Red ring of death. Luckily it was still within that extended warranty window for the RROD so it's just a matter of sending it in and waiting. The UPS dude should have it today.

They're a neat novelty item, but I wouldn't attempt any covert operations with them.

With that being said, I was able to navigate around my house in pitch black without stubbing my toes too many times. Also used them to haul the garbage to the end of the driveway the other night and was somewhat impressed with their range. Yes, I am a huge dork .

I don't think it would be too far-fetched to use them on your way out to a deer stand (legal??) or anywhere else you needed to stay discrete. On a cool factor (1-10 scale), I give them a 10. Worth the additional cost of the game? Maybe a 4-5. Functionality/Practicality would probably score a 2.

Whats the difference if I sit on the couch and watch a movie or TV for several hours or I play a videogame? No difference really, one is just considered 'nerdy' for some reason.

I am 34 and play. Our generation was the first to have video games when we were young, and most of the developers are our age. Besides, these aren't games for anyone under 17 (supposedly)

lol we have been playing capture the flag and wow what a realy fun game with 6 ppl that know what they are doing.we have 2 to 3 ppl watching the flag the rest are running depending on the map.i cant get enough of CTF.

i dont understand why anyone uses the scrambler perk anymore. its a dead giveaway that there is an enemy player nearby, and you just get in a corner and wait for them. i cant count how many times ive gotten a kill when i should have gotten killed just because they have it on.

Im never gonna get to nuke anyone Ive been close a bunch but just cant get it done.

Today I was going 24-0, one away from a nuke, then got knifed to end it which really ticked me off. Another game I had the nuke unlocked but I was in the chopper gunner at the time, couldnt call it in and ended the game in the chopper.

Just hit 70 I dont want to prestige 'til I get atleast one nuke. Unless you get to keep your unlocked killstreaks after pretstiging, I doubt it but anyone know?

nope you start all over again.you get to keep all your call signs and emblems.you also get 1 more create a class.

one more create a class is dumb if you ask me. i never use more than 2 classes at any one time anyways. dont think im gonna prestige at all this time around.

I'm not either. I am done prestiging on W@W as well, I am at level 5 on there, which is my favorite prestige medal, so I might as well stay put.

A couple of more things I've learned this morning, after the 7 year old woke me up at 3 am.
