FrontenacPike
I'm hoping with the pizza cutter tires on it and the paddle lugs that snow depth won't be an issue. The picture is a little deceiving, the tires appear to be wider than they are. They are only 8 inches wide.
Dave S
In a way, I would side with Gr8 as far as the tires. The narrow/deep lug profile is made for digging down to solid ground in the mud. Dig down through the snow and you hit slick ice, hence the need for chains. Not sure how well chains would fit on those diggers. The ground clearance (GC) is definitely a plus for when you "will" dig through the deeper snow but a different tire selection might be in order to get the full benefit of your GC. I'm still jealous
gr8icefishinmind
I find that the stock tires are better in the snow than the big tires! I have a set of mudlites on mine and they are terrible in the snow/ice, but with a set of chains the kawi brute force is almost unstoppable!! LMITOUT
You'll go through more snow than you think with those skinny tires. I'll take those any day over fat tires that just push snow and slow your momentum, usually resulting in getting stuck. Nice ride!
FrontenacPike
Typically in SE Mn where I live we will get snow just like the rest of the state but since most of the winter the highs for the day hover around freezing point the bottom layer is hard pack before you find the ice. I don't want to make a big debate ford vs chevy on here...we can save that for a bar over a couple of beers. I will let you guys know (with pics) how it works out this winter once the season is in full swing. Keep posted if you are interested MUD PRO in the snow. Thanks for all the compliments guys...see ya on the trails and ice!!!

Walleye Inn
Was out playing in the snow at the parents over thanksgiving. Also rigged up an auger holder on the back rack that doesn't take up the whole rack and bolted on a custon rack extension to hold the clam jr. so I dont have to drag it through the snow (it always fills up with snow). I'm ready to fish.
