Dotch
Nice pics! The old moving knot on the tree trick and it almost worked! Was one working the ash trees over a few weeks back and this morning we had a yellow bellied sapsucker. A few goldfinches too finally. Maybe they aren't extinct here. eyeguy 54 and Tom Sawyer

delcecchi
Had a yellow goldfinch at the feeder. Maybe spring will actually come. The power company has been armoring all the poles in the neighborhood against pileateds... So I started looking for them.. No luck so far. eyeguy 54

knoppers
is it the creepers always go up, and the nuthatches always go down, or the other way around? I saw my first creeper last year on a tree next to my deck. great pics.
eyeguy 54
had not heard that but I guess I have not seen the creeper go down the tree, only up.
Duffman
Just had an Eurasian Collared Dove in the yard, I'm pretty sure it's the first I've ever seen. Stuck around just long enough to get a positive ID. eyeguy 54
