gopher_nation
I just put out my trail camera today. Reapplied the mineral lick, which I was surprised to see a decent sized hole in the ground where they have continued to paw at. I'm excited to see some pics again, I've never put it out this early in the year.

Gotta start somewhere... Thinkin about browtines, maybe next week!

slimngrizzly
This weeks pics from a different spot... Most still have all their winter hair. I bet much of that will go this comming week. Looks like a bunch of baby bucks for the most part. Gotta start somewhere!
lovebigbluegills
What type of mineral were you dumping around that stump?
Lunker
Have seen a few fawns running around already. Almost stepped on one while morel hunting the other day. I have a few cameras out, only checked the one so far. Not too much going on, but got the first "bone" of the year on this scruffy fella. slimngrizzly
What type of mineral were you dumping around that stump? Lucky Buck. Its primarily salt like all the rest, but I cant find a better product as far as "draw power", especially when it comes to getting pictures. It doesn't take much either. Lunker, that little guy looks like hes got the "barnacle burrs"! You may have something there!

slimngrizzly
Nice to see some pictures showing up! The growth certainly seems to be a bit behind in MN this year...Looks like maybe a 2 year old there irish, he seems to have some decent bases to start with. It will be a lot easier to tell what there gonna be once they get the brow tines up.
Lunker
Checked this camera on a different property for the first time. Lots of pics, mostly the same few does and a couple of yearling bucks who made it through, but the buck in the 2nd pic below may have some potential, already showing some branching on his right side; we will see. HELLO!

sticknstring
That's a great pic imbass - hard to beat bucks on licking branches during shooting hours! May has been pretty quiet in my neck of the woods. A few critters & a score of morels was about it. Hopefully some good velvet on the next pull!
slimngrizzly
That Bushnell sure takes some nice saturated photos stick! Im sure the velvets coming. It drives me nuts seeing these bucks now and not knowing which ones they are. They just need to grow a little more! Cool pics everyone
sticknstring
Yeah, I've been really impressed w/ that one. It's the Natureview 439 - best pics/video I've seen from a Bushy yet.
