Well I ended up in the ER on Monday and they finally let me out today. smile It's tough sitting there looking out the window knowing that the spring bite is starting to happen and my boat has not even been touched yet. Just wanted to let everyone know that's where I've been and will get on and check out the all the post I miss after I get some good HOME rest.

My diverticulitis decided to pay me a visit on Saturday, I went to Urgent Care and they sent me home with some meds. Got up late on Sunday not feeling good but I'm the type who can handle a LOT of pain and just decided to go check a crappie spot with Anthony and Julie, well we got into the crappies really good (got some pictures and will put up later) but after about an hour of it I had to go home and see if I could just take a good [PoorWordUsage]. No go, stomach hurts, didn't eat anything since Friday night and being a tough guy and thinking I would just get over it. Monday came and I'm feeling worst (with the meds) and my stomach looks like I'm about 8 months pregnant, decided to call the primary doctor and he tells me to get to the ER right away.

I get there Monday at 4pm and never even saw a doctor until 2:30am Tuesday(and I have good insurance) but they finally got me in a bed at 4am, I didn't have a thing to eat or drink the whole time until last night and this morning with a good healthy runny squirts... LOL I was climbing the walls the whole time and just wanted to get out, I couldn't find anyone my age or anyone to talk hunting or fishing. So here I am with a very limited diet until about Saturday then I can start eating some more whole food and see how that goes. Oh yea, when they finally got me it they wanted to give me morphen or demoral and I said "the [PoorWordUsage] you are, I've been in this much pain for almost 4 days I think I can handle it until you start fixing it", Julie and my parents were so mad at me but I told them I've never done anything like that and don't want to start. Plus when they try to cut me open I want to be able to make that decision with a clear mind on not leave it up to my proxy (who by the way is listed as my primary for my Life Insurance) LOL

If nobody knows what diverticulitis is look it up or find someone who has it and ask them to describe the pain, it's the worst pain I've ever felt in my life and I've broken both collar bones, left wrist, 2 ribs and torn up left knee. It sucks!!!!!!!!

Lee, I watched my brother inlaw go through it he had it so bad and let it go for too long and almost bit the dust to put it lightly.I don't want to scare you but get what ever you have to get done this stuff is very dangerous, I am sure you know that now give me a shout when you feel better.Get well soon Bro Todd

Thanks guys.... I got out yesterday and came home to take inventory of all the fishing and turkey gear and went right to bed. Woke up this morning around 11AM and called my dad and said I'll be over to pick you up, lets go to the hatchery and check out the walleye's and take a ride around the lake and see what's going on. LOL I got pictures of Anthony catching some fish (Can't post on here because of the lurkers) on Saturday (2 hours before I went in... LOL) and some of the hatchery (walleyes) and some of 7 tom's strutting their stuff off right next to my house today.. LOL I got the scoop on a couple of spots that are on fire right now from boat and hope to get mine going soon, just need some decent weather to open it up and get the new fish finder in and clean it up.

Lee - The birds here this morning were all fired up! Maybe they were cranky from being rained on all night? 2 jakes were getting real aggressive trying to muscle in on the longbeards - they nearly got a beating. Then they did single out one and ran him off twice. Lots of strutting and postureing. Then a group of hens were fighting a bit and everybody started gobbling. The whole time the biggest 2 birds just fanned out and ingnored the comotion. Neat stuff...
