The weather could not have been more cooperative yesterday afternoon, it was ideal for a photo session. One of those seesions with nothing in mind, just get out there and see what developes. Here's some of what I found...

Northern Hawk Owl...

Wow, Stu! The hawk owl shots are georgeous. We've had a lot of hawk owls posted--but you can't miss with a sky like that. And its fun to see them in flight. Love his furry little feet tucked in. Oh yeah--that other little furry guy is cute too.

I really like that second shot, I am so jealous of you fellows with all those trees. Not many owls around here in the prarie and there are around they are excellent hiders. I have only seen a couple in my 17 years in the valley.
