norma
I'm a newbe at this bass thing. Been chasing Walleyes for a while however.Anyhow, what would be a good lake that a beginer like myself could catch some bass on this summer without too much difficulty? I live in Forest Lake, was thinking of trying Big Marine. I'm not looking for your favorite hole, just a lake that if one takes his time and pokes around they will find some fish. Deitz Dittrich
Norma- big marine is known for numbers.. but not big fish, but fish.Chisago or Green or N/S Center is known for larger fish... I am in the process of setting up my LLC, and will be doing very reasonable Guiding.. If interested.
champion198elite
DD, If you start guiding your gonna have to start charging Fluker, espically if you take him to the same lakes we will be fishing for our club tourney's.

jeffyo45
DeitzyYou mean I can come and get knowledge from you first hand on those Chisago/Forest Lake area lakes and go fishing with you. Sign me up.Seriously, I was going to pick your brain on some more lakes my club is fishing this year. Not to mention a ride in that new high performance fishing machine of yours. I would be more than willing to pay you to take me fishing on one in particular. Even if you don't do the guiding thing I would pay you to take me fishing there. I will sign a waiver or whatever. Email if you want so we can get talks started. [email protected]Sorry not trying to hijack the thread. All of the lakes Deitz mentioned are proven bass lakes. Some for size some for numbers. SledNeck
sometimes its nice to have every spot to yourself on a 12,000 acre lake
Raider4ever
Sled is right. I love bass fishing up here. All those walleye-heads drowning crawlers and leeches on mid-lake humps in 35fow all summer. Leaves me with every main lake point, reed bed, Lower unit eating boulder field, and lily pad patch in St. Louis and Itasca counties for me and Sleddie.
