kinda related to fishing but we were taking out my uncles pontoon lift and we needed to take the wheels off so my dad and another guy were on one side standing on it to balance it and it was me and my uncles father in law (FIL) on the other we got the wheels off and his FIL thought we were done and didn't help lower it back down so when it came down it came down in a hurry and my fingers were on the bottom of the boat lift frame and pinched my fingers between the boat lift and my steel toe boots then when i pulled my fingers out i tore up a flap of skin almost to the bone it wasn't pretty that finger always goes white and numb before the other are even cold

Last year late ice I was tying on a small buckshot. I pulled to hard sliding the not. Stuck all 3 barbs deep into the palm of my hand. Pretty tough to wiggle three barbs out by myself. The ER nurse had to cut them out. Man did that bleed.....

Was out on the st.croix summer fishing with two buddies and the girl friend and I got my rapala stuck in the tree. It wasnt that wrapped around so I told everybody get down. Well I didnt look back to make sure but flung it out anyway and it flew back into the boat. My two buddies had ducked but my girlfriend didnt regiister and got two of the three hooks in her upper thigh. I tried to get them out but she wasnt haveing it so we went to the er. As far as ice fishing Ive flipped a sled and wheeler but wasnt hurt on either one magically.

I have had a few incidents. I have had multiple incidents where I buried trebles/jigs into the back of my head while casting.

the two must memorable happened to my dad though.

the first one was when we were fishing the missisipi up by elk river. we had gotten out of the boat to wade, and were throwing topwaters. my dad had stuck a tiny torpedo in his had to switch out with the lure he had on if he wanted. Sure enought the flied were out that day, and one landed right on his head by the lure. He slapped the fly, and got several trebles imbedded in his hand.

the other time we were out on the boat, and my dad caught a small pike on a rather large rapala. he was bent over the fish, which was in the water when it jumped. the front treble impaled itself into the side of his nose, while the rear treble was stuck in the 18 inch pike. the flopping fish tore a gash 2 inches long in the side of his nose that required several stiches.
