diamond jigs

i have heard about diamond jigs in the past and have been wondering if they actually worked? please give me some info on what baits and colors work good with them?

I love them. I make sure I got some with me at all times. They work great in all situations, whether you are fishing deep, shallow, or in between. My go to colors are glow red and white. Chartruese and pink have their times as well. I usually tip them with gulp waxies or a few eurolarvae.

Diamonds are great IMO. I have caught more crappies on them this year then anything.

i tend to use as small a jig as i can not sure what the weight is but the gills seem to love it so do the craps

They are great jigs, they fish heavy for their size and are a nice jig to switch too when fish get finiky as they give a differnt action than standard verticle jigs do.

I like them too. Tip with plastics and/or euros or a waxie. I think they're a fun bait to fish, definately a bait that fishes heavy for it's size. I like to go small with my baits but if you're tipping with a minnow you may need to upsize your jig to match the size of the minnow.

I have fished these jigs a little and have done ok with them. I may not have given them enought of a chance. However I am very impressed with the vertiglow demons by custom jigs and spins which I have used 75% of the time these past three years. The demons work awesome for crappies,perch walleye, and even sunfish. I use the glow reds and pink and whites majority of the time.

I have had good luck with Diamond Jigs also.

Glow red, pink, gold, and chartuse are all good colors where I fish.

Tip with a waxie or the tail of a minnow.

There are quite a few different jigs that are very similar to the diamond jig.. THe Marmooska was one of the first. They are a great panfish lure.. I have one tied on just about all the time. I think I use a size 8 or 10 the most..

And my appreciation to custom jigs and spins for creating them.

I like small jigs, and Diamond jigs are nice since they're heavy for their size. I usually fish size 14.
