Are you guys getting bombed with snow? I seen the temp. in a few area's. I feel bad for you, but at the same time wish I was in it.

Dee Dee it is just dandy weather were are having. You know lows in the upper teens below zero and highs not quite making it to 0.

And that is down in the cities. I believe International Falls was -42 yesterday morning. Had a few more inches of snow this week, throw in a high pressure system from Canada or the north pole, and it is chilllllllllllly.

Hey the bright side teens above zero with a few 20's thrown in there this weekend. A HEAT WAVE>>>>>>>

It was -42 in Ely this morning and it is suppose to be colder tonight. We had -17 in Carlton and tonight sounds like around -20.

Sir Jim I feel for ya. Lived in Duluth for 4 years and the winters were always a challenge.

Oh well these are the coldest 2 weeks of the winter usually.

It was a cool -37 below here in Bemidji yesterday, today it's warmed up a bit, only -28! We say it's only really bad when we get the wind with it. Suppose to snow with the warm up this weekend. I don't mind the snow either, just hate the wind.

Man it's cold out here. Truck wouldn't start, which turned out fine cause they canceled daycare for my three year old. So now it's Daddy Day.

Right now we are sitting at -24, with a windchill of -43. All the schools in the area are two hours late, and most churches cancelled activities last night.

My kids would miss so many days of school if I were there right now. I'm starting to think I should just stick to summer vacations. Not sure if I could get used to it again. I thought I was gonna freeze that first day in NY and it was 30 degree's and its about 35 here.

I agree wholeheartedly. I am not really a winter lover, but since I got hooked on ice fishing I can usually tolerate it. This year I feel like I am living in Siberia, not to even mention what my fuel bill has been. If I get by for less than $2000 this winter I will be lucky. So far since October a tad over $1000 and it is only January.

ULT I bet they are ready to go back, and think your crazy for wanting to live up here. Just tell them it will get better and you should get them outside in this weather for a while, so it gets in the 20's they will think "hey this isn't that bad out here, kinda nice".

This is thier 1st week inside all the time....they have been ice fishing and sliding otherwise....Youth are adaptable.
