kdawg
I think I sold my ATV, only one problem.... I can't find an ATV title card for it. It's a '07. Was I supposed to get a title card when I registered it? Thanks.
Dave S
No, the only thing you would have gotten was a slip when you registered the machine. No title. In order to sell it, you only need to write a bill of sale for the purchaser to be able to register the machine in their name. I believe it's spelled out in the 2008-09 Regulations Thread at the top of the ATV page if you need more clarification. In the bill of sale, it would be best to include some info about the purchaser like a DL# (if their willing). Name and address should suffice as well as the VIN#, make/model/year. Keep a copy for yourself just in case.
leech~~
kdawg, you should have a little small registration card for it just like they have for snowmobiles that you just hand over to the person when you sell it. They cannot get new lic, plates without it.
Dave S
From page 10 of the reg's:If you sell your OHV give the new owner the registration card and a bill of sale.

Dave S
I have heard of guys registerring machines with only a BOS. Maybe try calling your county registrar to see what they want.

Dave
That's what they ask for, a BOS. If it was never registered, a person should be able to walk in and register it. I have.
kdawg
Well, to confirm what others have already stated here, I called the license bureau yesterday and they told me all I needed was a bill of sale with the particulars.
BlueLundFishrman
when you buy it new you should get a "MSO" (manufacturer's statement of origin)

Macgyver55
I wouldn't say ripped....I was never asked to produce one when selling an ATV. All I've ever used was the DNR registration card for transfering.
