hondarider550
Well here is my try at this challenge. I am still working on my morning coffee but here is my night shot photo... We were traveling home the other night when the wind and snow was blowing around about 1/4 mile from our home... Notice the grain bins on the right?... Let me know what you think... dockothebay
OK - my turn! We have been traveling for the past 3 weeks or so and our morning coffee is generally in a travel mug or styrofoam cup! Right now we are staying in Harlingen, Texas, and this morning we made an early trip to the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. This is a great birding area - but this morning we were treated to javelina's having breakfast with the grackles, blackbirds and green jays. We've seen so many new birds - I'll try to post a few shots in the birding forum over the weekend.
Nymph
This is my first time shooting the moon. The moon isn’t full till tomorrow night but didn’t think I would get the shot with the weather rolling in later tonight. I had to wait about a half hour for the clouds to open up enough to get the shot I wanted. Thought it would be neat to post it here and possibly get some bonus points in my college astronomy class. polarsusd81
Here it is. I will call it "Snow on Southview Blvd." Have to post larger scale to show some of the subtleties. I didn't have the tripod with, so I used some t-shirts to prop the camera on the hood of my car. Rebel XT, ISO 800, 50mm, F/10, 2 Sec. Long exp. noise reduction on, shot in B/W with digital green filter.
