Definitely. The bottom line is that we've improved by two wins each of the last three years, which is impressive (bottom line).

And I honestly think we can continue that trend next year with a 12-4 finish if we (1) shore up our QB situation and (2) improve our special teams play. Adding a solid #1 wide out and a competent offensive coordinator wouldn't hurt any either.

With EJ coming back, our D will only get better (a scary thought).

I agree. For all the complaining I've been doing it did turn out to be an entertaining season and we did get in the playoffs. Congrats to the Vikes on an improved season.

In my belief we need 2 new starters on O-Line. Birk will be gone, and we need to shore up our right guard/tackle positions.

QB obviously.

Special teams coverage and return units.

That's it. We should have EJ and possible Keneche Udeze back next year. Peterson should be carrying a football around with him the entire offseason, and needs to learn how to pick up a blitzing linebacker.

a week ago, i thought the packers could win the north next year. after watching the vikes D on sunday, i think they will get it done again. that game would have been ugly if the vikes hadn't forced three field goals. i don't get alot of purple games out here on the west coast, that allen is fun to watch. he seems like the player that fans love and opponents hate.

It's too bad chilly is probably gonna stay...oh well. If we get a new QB though who knows what will happen. Hopefully whoever it is can see when chilly calls a dumb play and audible out of it!

I was glad there finally was a positive post. They had a good season, showed improvement, and left us wanting more for next year. Was a wild ride, wish it wasn't over. Can't wait for next season. Go Vikes....

The Williams boys still need to resolve their issues. Hate to see the first 4 games next year without the 2 big Williams brothers in the mix. The Vikes would probably start out in a hole again next year that they would have to dig out of if they are suspended.

That's something we could handle I think. I'd like to see Winfield and Sharper back. Birk said it wouldn't take much for him to be back. Let's find a competent QB and a decent right tackle and I think we'd be a little better on the offensive side of the ball. The defense will be awesome again, that Cedrick Griffin sure turned out to be good a corner. As always I can't wait until next year.

Yeah he is from here, owns a gym and 2 restaurants, so I too think he would sign for less to stay. He is a Pro Bowler, pretty much every year, one bad snap and everyone on here wants to get rid of him- gimme a break.
