amsoil ratio for strikemaster

I love all amsoil products and saber is as good as the rest. I have an old strikemaster 3 horse that never used to run as smooth or rip the rpms as high as when I started using saber at 100:1. I've been using it a couple years now and it sure did revive my old auger. Huge difference with the smoke too. This stuff is great.

oilman - I must say I like your pricing compared to what I was charged at the ice show. I got charged over $2.00 more than your retail for the 8oz 100:1....Looks like you have a new customer!

8 oz, mixes 5 gal at 80-1, 6 gal at 100-1, bottle marked with per gallon markings, retail $4.05, wholesale $3.05

NICE....i got 8oz of the saber pro at a local yamaha/honda dealer for $3.50...normally i'd expect to pay a little more but i guess not.

I switched to amsoil last year and glad i'm did!!!!! STrike masters have a tendancy to bog out on that first hole drilled...the amsoil really minimized that problem. Made my auger a better auger.

Don, not trying to highjack the thread but another question some of us might run into. I went to the store tonight to pick some up. Like usual, I didn't pay close enough attention and purchased a bottle of Amsoil Saber "Outboard". Will this work or is it something I should return and try to get the "Professional"type oil? If so i will be placing an order with you because I won't be able to get out until next monday. Thanks for your help.

Definitely return it. The Saber Outboard carries a "Not Recommended" for the small 2-cycle air cooled toys and tools.

Get the Saber Professional.

Note: Yes the 8-oz bottles are very similar - but the Saber Professional has a yellow-red section on the label while the Saber Outboard has the same section blue-green.
