COD5

I still haven't run across guys glitching except one night about a month ago I was on Castle and kept picking guys off that were trying to glitch.

I'm Prestige level 20, and since I'm waiting for the snow, I get to play all different hours of the day...... soooo... I just don't see the glitchers.

I figured I'd better admit I finally had someone glitching on a level the other night.

It was on "Outskirts", the level where there's the church steeple where guys try to run to the top and snipe, but there was a guy just hanging in mid air, between the steeple and where the tank is placed behind the tree straight out from the steeple.

He was up higher than the steeple.

Took me 2 deaths before I figured out where he was.

Then there was another time on Hardcore Deathmatch where a guy was glitching, but then someone kicked him out of the game. I haven't figured out yet how that happened.

I'm usually in that 13:9, 18:16, depends on the map.

I like Hanger, if you start in the right spot, you can sprint to where guys run into the hangar to run up the stairs, and just pick them off. Get 5 in a row, then throw some artillery and get the dogs, and you're off to a good start.

My best is 24:2.

My nephew had a 31:1 round. I didn't believe him until I looked up his stats when we were down there last weekend.

Dang teenagers anyways.

I was playing today, ended up on the Makin Day map.

The tide is out, so you don't have the water to crouch down in, plus the sun has taken away most of the areas I hid in, and created new shadowed areas.

It's nice to see the report fixed after each round.

Well I bought killzone2 and cant see it holding my attention very long. Not sure if its the controls or what but the online play has been darn near impossible for me to get the hang of. Anyone else pick it up?

Not yet but I will be. I heard the graphics are unreal.

I like the Makin map either way. I don't like Dome coz it's too small.

Ebass, have you played the demo of killzone2? If not Id recommend you try it to see if you like it. If I would have played it before I bought it I dont know if I would have went out and bought it. The single player has been pretty good but if you want to play online prepare for frustration. The movement on the contols lags alot. Say you want to look left hit the joystick left and about a half second later it will happen on screen, stop the joystick and about a half second later it stops panning. I just cant get the hang of the lag in the controls enough to do well online.

Oh well new maps for COD5 should be here any day now...

TUTF,

Yeah a couple of the guys I play with (you have to) picked up KZ2. I don't know man, tried the Demo and it seemed just like GOW2 but harder. No thank you!

I heard that the movements are more "life like" than arcadey. I'm used to COD4/5 game play too. My buddy has killzone2 and you're right, I better play it before I drop 60 on it.

I heard the new maps were going to be out early march...

As for the killzone2 controls being life like is bull... I dont mind the slower movement but the aiming is horrible. Their is a delay between the time you move the controls and when it actually occurs, same when you try to stop looking around. I dont want realistic controls I want a fun game!

March 9th for the new maps.

I heard that from someone online last night

I'll get my taste of KZ2 this weekend. You're not painting a pretty picture, but hey they made it that way.

i really wasnt too happy with the new maps. zombie map there is way too much going on. maybe with more play time i'll like it but there is a lot of turn around with a zombie right on you since youre separated from teammates and lots of places for them to get in at. as for the other maps i like nightfire, knee deep is only ok and i am not a fan of station. waiting for map pack 2 now.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
