rattle reel in a portable?

hello i have a 5600 clam house portable i would realy like to fish pike with sucker minnows. is there any way i can do this inside the house without a rod and reel i was thinking like a tip up but dont know if that would work inside a shelter any ideas would be great i dont have a lot of bucks to do it though thank you

my dad used to hang a rattel reel off the side of a bucket he used a piece of nine wire and made a S-hook and it worked fine.

Just put a tip up over the larger hole it will fit and works just fine.

i attatched a clamp to a rattle type reel and i hook it to one of the poles over the hole------------cheap and effective!

they make those great rod holders, and rattle reels that connect right to the porty poles. I have the rod holder and it works great. I have also see one that is just a rattle reel.

I did the same thing that Will did. Used some cheap spring clamps, attached it to the rattle reel and clamp to a cross pole over the hole. Works great.

I attatched a rattle reel to a scrap of FT tubing left over from something.

AS Chode shows the Portable deadstick from Catch Cover is good, or there is also a Portable rattle reel. I believe retails around $20-25
