The thought of a bowfishing gathering crossed my mind as I was reading about the spearing get togethers. Just wanted to see if there was much interest in this or not? Anyone up for it?

If its not too far from home I'd be interested within ohh 50 miles.Gonna fillup the truck today both tanks,12 gals for boat & 5 gal for mowers and around the yard.I'm thinkihn around 125 bucks! This gas priceing will keep me close to home and fewer visits to relatives this summer.

A lot of it seems to depend on where it would be held. I don't blame people with the price of gas. Off the top of my head I was thinking maybe the Annanndale area but would be open to whatever or where the majority of people are from. Anyone else have any suggestions? It certainly wouldn't have to be anything very big nor would I expect it to be. I think it would be fun for a few people to get together and see who can pound the most carp.

By the way got out fishing them this evening for the typical big carp migration into shallow bays after ice out. Got 5 over 8 lbs but missed a bunch and was on new water so spent bunch of time looking around. Biggest was about 14.
