im hittin the river to do a little crappie fishing tomorrow. personaly right now i dont even care if i see a crappie, it will just b gud to be out on the water. i do have a few good spots though.

I really don't want to sound like a jerk-bait, but how hard could it be to write "be good" compared to b gud? I just feel that the English language, or any other for that matter, is getting slaughtered at the expense of laziness. On a lighter note, good luck, I hope you find a nice bunch of fish! I am a little jealous, as I am laid up with a broken ankle and unable to participate in what I consider the best time of the year to be out on the water....... Please don't take offense at what I have said, I know that the times are changing with text messenging and everything, but I don't see a need to short-cut all of the time.

nah man, i agree with you... its just as fast for me to type the whole word, and a lot easier to read it - because i was taught proper english and its easier to not read with a bunch of shorthand text abbreviations. I have teacher friends and they say kids are turning in papers with this sort of language. unbelievable! Kids these days... (and I'm only 22

I can't believe how bad the writing has got. I get emails from friends that are used to using their phones or msn messaging and I get so frustrated reading it....And with the reply box having a spell check on it too you think it would be easier to do it properly.

I feel awful about starting this for Whitetail's sake. I hope you don't have any hard feelings. I do stand by using proper English and when possible. Mistakes happen.
