Try to think back and answer those questions and more or start doing it when you catch them from now on. Pretty soon you may see a pattern to the 'freak catches'.Also a camera can be a huge tool in helping you disect the structure if you have not already.Good luck. hope you stick a big one. Central Bassman
I would also agree with Ray and TUTF. I might try a soft jerk-bait bait or a swim bait also.

tritonman
Since the lake is only 200 acres and it is Bass opener, I would pick apart every bit of productive shallow water as well as the first break with a jig. If you don't have all day a shallow crankbait or spinnerbait would be the other options I would be using.
JP Z
I was thinking this lastnight......It's only 200 ACRES!!! Fish the snot out of it. Be happy you have a lake to yourself...I'd be curious if there are other "fishy" looking spots on the lake that you didn't even show. You are a lucky man!! tigerbalm2424
Heres one more: Its a small bay 2-3 feet deep around the perimeter but drops off to 8 pretty quick. The nice part is the small partially submerged dock in the upper right hand corner. No one lives there and the dock hasnt moved in the last 3 years (probably more but thats when I started going). As an aside, the Fedex guy is taking WAY too long delivering my new curados!
JP Z
Well considering this dumping we just got today on Opener I'm thinking it will be Still Prespawn maybe touching into the spawn. So that shallow could be a very sweet spot for you to throw a weightless senko, spinnerbait or soft jerkbait.

It has been worked over during all times of the year with senkos but they have never worked real well. Usually topwaters are the ticket! Im getting the itch now...... Neighbor_guy
I agree with jpz on this one... Thas has slug-go written all over it. Guy in the back working a wacy rigged senko or sinking minnow. I guess it all depends on the weeds and what not in the bay.
