Scott M
A buddy of mine just called me this weekend and sent me these pictures....Crazy. He was in town on business in Green Bay and did some shore fishing on the Fox River and just annihilated the walleyes. His boss helped set up the trip and I guess the flow and timing seems to come about every three years or so...Well it absolutely peak for about 3-4 days this past weekend. Just look at some of these slob fish! Those are some beauty queens. I think he told me the smallest they caught was 17", and they caught fish on almost every cast. A bunch of 30". Might want to put this date into the calendar for next year!

fishuhalik
Unbelieveable! Most of us will fish for the rest of our lives to catch 1 fish like that. Congrats to your buddy on a GREAT day of fishing
Nick Kuhn
Notice the power plant in the background, it keeps the water so much warmer than other parts. I saw a fishing show where they were fishing a powerplant outflow. They dropped down a camera and you couldn't see 10 feet because there were so many fish. It's like every fish within 20 miles of the plant flock to that one spot to stay warmer.

shedfreak
Im originally from oshkosh, so i know all about those walleyes. I know exactly the spot where you guys were standing! The largest one ive seen pulled outta there was by my buddy Randi. It was 32 inches, and 13 pounds plus. It didnt even look REAL. 30 inchers are not uncommon there... As a matter of fact, I believe that area of the river ( FOX RIVER) the walleyes have to be either 26 or 28 inches to even keep. thats due the the background of those photos. The amount of mercury in there is unsafe for eating. So its trophy only. Im definitely gonna try and make a weekend there next year with a guy i know up here in MN. Im sure he will be game. Wont fill my freezer, but it could most definitely fill up some of my empty wall space!!! ill email Rando tonight and see if he can send a pic of that one he pulled outta there,, maybe even a few others....
