9 weeks means I better stay in my shop for 9 weeks.

Good thing is there has been a bunch of progress. Rebel you should be getting yours very soon.

Ready? I sold all my fishing rods from last year which means I have nothing to fish with. I have to get all my show orders done before I build my own. Good motivation.

Unless I make a trip down to Iowa to fish, I will have to wait one more week to hit the water. I just looked and my wife works the weekend of the opener mad.gif I think I will have to see if I can get a babysitter for sat afternoon and evening whistle.gif

Excellent... I keep on getting things to look forward to each month to help stem the Muskie fever until June 7th...

For sure, it'll be a package of lures from MTO each month... and I already got the package for April... helps some... then getting the pics of the boat and the news I'll have it home within 2-3 weeks helped some... and now my Pro Edge might be ready soon... that helps some too!!! I do know that my 2 7000iC3 are so lonely... they're waiting for their new mates... LOL

I made a rod rack that goes up on the garage ceiling... it looks GREAT and does it job great... I have two space empty... reserved it for the Pro Edge rods!!! This one can hold 10 rods... will be making one more set that will hold 12 rods... all goes on the ceiling in the garage... OUT of way... less worrying of it falling or breaking... I need to take pics of that...

Important thing is that I keep myself busy doing something thats associated with fishing that really helps stem down the Muskie Fever...

well i got motivated today and cleaned up the inside of the boat today, lubed up, lower unit filled, brand new plugs, degreased the vinyl, shampooed the carpet, armour alled everything up nice, sheesh, looks like a different boat. just gotta get last years river scum off the outside and buff and wax it tommorow and hopefully later i can tighten some screws up and in an emergency she's ready to go fishing. i do have a little wireing problem but i think/hope it's just a bad ground. but without the trailer it'll still float nice. hope next weekend i can get her out and feel that wind in my hair again. if not, oh well theres next, next weekend then. then i gotta decide which downrigger is going on it first. real spendy or just spendy. those riggers are alot of lures. whew. gonna be a real good b1gf1sh1 year. i can smell it.

I just know I need to lose about 2lbs a week in the next 9 weeks, 2 back ops, sitting around trying to behave and mend up sure left it's mark on my waistline.....

Yesterday in the rain little kids were seeking shelter under my newly grown "front porch"!

I know what you mean, my wife is pregnant and so far my belly is bigger than hers grin.gif I gained a total of 50lbs the last two times my wife was pregnant and she lost the weight and I haven't. I have also had back surgery and that is my excuse as to why I don't exercise any more grin.gif

Big... a ready made anchor right there for you... just tie a string on Chris' belt and throw him overboard... grin.gif

On other hand... Im in the same club... need to lose more than few... dont want to tell the insurance agent that the reason why my boat sank was because I, myself, overloaded it... grin.gif

I hope your "new back" holds up this year, Chris. I know how frustrating it was for you this past year. I'll stick a big sturg next week for you \:\)

I know that there are plenty of guys who hits lakes at midnight for the walleye opener - does anyone do that for muskies? Just a thought. Last year I opened up on BE and almost needed a combat helmet from all the hardware flying through the air.
