evinrude19
I saw a infomercial on a boat that had enough power to pull in fish and there was a swivel on it where you tie on to i couldnt believe and it was like 50$ the kid would drive it up to a fish and he would drive the boat to him and take off the fish!!!! unbelievable lol
Scott M
They were selling these things at the Ice Show. They claimed they were legal in Minnesota but I have my doubts. I always wondered what would happen when a largest fish took the bait. That catfish almost swamped that baby.

Sandmannd
Saw one at Walmart the other day for $50. I don't know how they would be legal cause you aren't setting the hook. That and the one I saw was only rated up to a 2 lb fish. What would happen if you got a monster, that thing would be gone.
Grant Pearson
they have those at the sports show, and I talked to the guy running the booth. He said that there really isn't any way that it could handle anything over about 5 or 6 pounds. He was a salesman though and said that if you wanted to try "trolling" for northerns with it, just rig up 2 of them together!!!! I'll still get out the baitcaster...... irishwalleye
You guys are missing how this could really work. You simple add one of those quick-release clips that guys use for trolling with outriggers to the boat and back to your baitcaster on shore. Drive the boat til the fish strikes, fish unhooks line from boat, you fight fish with rod, drive boat back after!!I cant wait til the wife finds out that I want one of these, she may sell all my fishing gear!! Trolling without leaving the shore lol I like it! XD They would need to make it weighted in the front to get anything heavier without swamping it, that way when they try to get off the boat wouldn't try to pull a titanic as much

They were selling a top dollar version a couple of years ago at the Sportshow for around $500 and that is exactly how it worked. Sort of like that swimming bobber deal except more fun! slipperybob
Why don't I just get myself a bean bag gun and use that to lauch my lure becuase I'm a tad bit lazy to cast it and then get a winch to real my fish in...LOL's
ricqik
I was actually thinking about gettin one of those remote control boats from walmart. I'd rig it with a quick clip release so I can give it a quick tug and the line slips off and bring the boat back and the lure stays. Would be great for log docks and major overhanging tree's. I wonder if it's legal in tournaments?
