that missing chunk in the tail looks like a really clean cut... like somebody clipped it with a pair of scissors or something.

Went out for a few hours on a wingdam next to the Lilydale boat launch. I was using crawlers and had a couple light bites that I missed, but I did manage this fat bellied carp - my personal best.

I also got checked by the DNR. The CO seemed a little surprised when I told him I was fishing for carp.

I made my way around the local rivers & streams this last two weeks,nothin in em,not much water either,the last 12" snow melted slowly,its snowin now got 4-5" still comin down,Should'nt be to long before the fish start movin in around here,its a late spring it seems, but the last few were real early I guess.Lookin forward to those carpies.
