What a bunch of malarky...Apparently it will be Brenden harris at 2nd and Nick Punto at SS.

What do you guys think about that? I kinda liked that Casilla Kid thought he had lotsa upside and good defensive skills

He would have had to overachieved this spring to have a shot. Another year at Rochester will make a big difference in his game.

I think we could have some seriously good speed -- gomez and castilla on the top -- that would fun fun to see.

Another year in Rochester will help him fine tune his swing and get a little more sound on the defensive side, although his defense is good.

I think we will see him by summer. He is just going to start in AAA.

I think it was pretty much a given the Harris would be the starting second baseman. Nothing wrong with that...the opportunity to get 12-15 homers from a second baseman is something the Twins haven't had in a while...

And Everett is at the top of the depth chart for SS as of right now...

I have a feeling that Casilla isn't really in Gardy's corner. He's young and a full season of playing, rather than splitting time is what he needs.

Plus, anyone who saw the kid play last ought to recognize two things: he's got a lot of potential, & he's not ready. I think he averaged more than one boneheaded play per game after the Castillo trade last year - but if he can harness his talent, he has the potential to be really good. If not, he's Luis Rivas.

Why are we still wasting our time with Punto...He's a good feilder but I could hit better than him...he is an automatic out every time he is at the plate...We should just cut our losses
