finnbay
Turned out to mostly be a honey-do day, but took a little time and walked around the yard with the 100-400. Lots of redpolls around today. He was in the feeder all day. Got a bonus with this one. First I've gotten a shot of. Can't get by without a chickadee. The grosbeaks were particularly cooperative today.

Steve Foss
Nice, Ken. We've had redpolls and grosbeaks flying over, but still no visitors. The male cardinal that was hanging around last fall has been singing in and near our yard for the last week. hendenhook
Finnbay nice stuff - you sure are getting the bird photography down. They must like you to hang around your yard soo much maybe you lured Catfish's birds away.
Steve Foss
A-HAH! That's IT! Ken's been coming up here with his whistle like the Pied Piper and sneaking my birds away as they roost.

buzzsaw
That first Pine Grosbeak is my favorite... I'd even clone out the branch about his head to make it cleaner yet.
Jim Almquist
All good stuff Ken. I just wonder what you are putting in the bird seed to keep that at your house once you have lured them away from Steve
