T-BONE and myself will be in the Shoremaster shelter booth area as of right now. Those that want the first batch of product get them while we have them, Last year the R&R was sold out after a day and a half.

Guys.......I have seen alot of mention of the Rock 'n Reel this week in here and other threads. I know people have alot of questions about when they are going to be available. They are in production as I write this. Due to still being a small time operation, production becomes a bit of a problem. Maybe someday, it will become something more than that. But for now, capital and assets needed for producing product are not as plentiful as one would like. The demand is there, there's no doubt. It's come a long way since I first developed the thing four years ago with the help of some friends along the way. Without their help in design, field testing, finance, manufacturing and publicity, it would not even be where it is today. I am grateful to one and all. They will be available again this winter. We will be at the Ice Show in St. Paul again this year too. So if you go, be sure to stop by and say hello......(Here comes the Ice!)......T

I know there has been a lot of speculation /guessing as to when these will be available, but based on WallEYES post is it safe to assume that the first production batch of these will go to the ice show, eliminating any chance to purchase one of these through this site before early ice?

Thanks,

Oh Yeh! the R&R looks so good out in front of the others in the new artical of the ice guide. And I'll tell you from experince that you will detect the lightest bite on the R&R. So dont hesitate to get them!If your drag is set right, you wont have to panic and bust your butt on the ice trying to get to it.Because 99.9% of time you will have that fish on. Your gonna love these things.><sUMo>------------><> Jig Stick

Rats!!! I can't get to the Ice Show until Sunday. Looking forward to getting my hands on one after seeing them at last years show. Good thing fishermen are patient grin.gif
Went to check the ice depth, got wet, muddy legs for my troubles......didn't make it through the swamp.

The reason that Marine Man and I keep asking about getting them is that Marine Man live 150 miles from St Paul and I like 200 from there so it isn't likely that we will be able to get down there to purchase one. That is why we would like to buy ASAP and get them shipped out to us. It not that we don't understand that these things take time but we missed out last year and we would hate to have that happen again.

They will be able to be available at the St. Paul show. T-BONE is trying to get them available before the show, He will give you the scoop when they will be available...so be patient, they will be worth the wait.

The RnR's are still in production. As of right now today-the tub mounted ones are being built in New York state. The stand alone units are being built here in MN. Since we are small potatoes in this industry, it takes quite an effort to get things done. I hope you all can be patient for just a little longer. We're doing the best we can to get product out there. Since it's not something that's stamped out in China by the thousands, it just naturally takes longer to produce. Stay tuned in here for the latest info.

Bob Cunningham-I'll try to shoot you an e-mail tomorrow.........

Jig Stick......you're the best P/R man going. What's your day job?.....;^).......T

Paul thanks for the offer we might just take you up on that. We are still debating on whether or not we will be able to make it. In a way I shouldn't go because I have a slight problem of spending money on ice fishing gear. I think it must be some kind of illness. We will let you know though thanks again.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
