I have looked into doing your own. you can order kits that have the spray nozzle and tanks of foam. For the size of a 8x10 house i figure it would run around 500-600 bucks.

Some of these spray foams are highly flammable. Do these types have flame retardant in them?

I had called around last year and got two different quotes for an 8 * 16 wheel house with 3" of spray insulation that would cover the 4 walls and the ceiling. Both bids were $800.00

Foam is a closed cell polyurethane foam with fire retardant. Aprox. R-8 per inch.

The insulation value is R-20 Entire house is only $1,200.

I have a 6 X 8 and real happy with it. Came with 4 - catch covers, 12v wired & dome light, RV door,carpeted, vents, tow hooks on skids, (2) windows,marine board floor, (376 lbs)all aluminum frame, rubber roof.

The warmth this things holds is crazy. Body heat alone is comfortable for a hour after it's heated up which takes (5) minutes max.

I had a 10x16 built 3 years ago and it cost me appr. $950 to be foamed and that included doing the floor. I personally would never have any other kind of house. Super warm and very light!!

Did it myself this summer. About $580 dollars for the sprayfoam kit if I remember correctly. Took a couple of hours to spray it and about 2 hours to trim off the excess. We only sprayed the walls, this was on a 8 x 14 house with an additional 3 foot v-front. I liked it since it sealed out alot of cracks, made the house very solid and holds heat very well. We turned the heat to low last weekend up at Mille Lacs and stayed pretty warm while sleeping. The floor of my house is pink sheet foam sandwiched between two layers of plywood.

I googled "spray foam insulation kit" and it was in the top 1 or 2 results. Looks like a kit would run just shy of $700.
