sparcebag
Prime we would push a boulder out each year,in what we thought was the same spot(no GPS then),eventually the towns people would put in 2 bucks each at the local wattering hole, winner take all!It started with me and one neighbor thinkin bout makin a fishin reef.Been back and now with sonar bout a 30 ft area in 9 ft of water with barron bottom a bunch of rocks.20 years of puttin them out.BIG ones used a D-4 cat to get em 1/2 way out then a plow vechile.Decent fishin area now. Kyle Sandberg
Sparcebag, that is a good idea but I have to add its illegal to put material into the lake. I'm just passing it on and don't want you to get into trouble. If you were to take it out each year I'm sure it'd be fine but just becareful. Nick Kuhn
I was just in Florida and man that open water looked good. Can't wait for the ice to go though. I want to see if my near shore modifications bring in some spawners (yeah it was illegal, but who cares if you steal some cattails and bullrushes from down the shore and plant them on yours. Oh, and I forgot the lily pads too).
