mmeyer
Great shots Cheryl, I especially like the dove. As always, they are superb!
finnbay
I like all of the BIF shots. Maybe because I struggle with that, and these are all so clear. Actually like the cornfield as well.
Jim Almquist
Cheryl I really like the mallard shot the way the orange feet and beak stand out and how sharp it is. The shot of the corn field is one that I keep going back to because I like it and because I see red in the trunk of the tree for some reason. Might be me or it could be my monitor.Maybe a deer hunter?

Anyway, that's the downside of downsizing images for web viewing. i don't know why but there was something red tied around the tree trunk. I'll crop another image to show you. finnbay
Wow! Now that's quite the crop! I think I can see "Made in China" on that cloth!
Jim Almquist
You have to love digital cameras because they don't miss anything but some time that can be just a little too good. Here I thought that maybe you had some REALLY bad hunters and someone was protecting his tree
Powerstroke
I love that cornfield shot too. The red also caught my eye.
MN Shutterbug
Stupendous shots, Cheryl. I can't wait until I get a chance to try some bif shots. If my attempts are even remotely this good, I'll be happy.
WifeKidsandDog
Thanks guys, I love BIF shots, nothing quite like getting home and discovering you've got a few in sharp focus. I haven't tried any since I got the 40D, wondering if that 6.5 fps would up my success rate.
Paul
Looks Great Cheryl. It is going to be -20 this saturday, be a good day to check out that new camera in subzero conditions. See if USM slows down like all other motors.
Dbl
Beautiful work Cheryl, exposures are right on, one and four really stand out for me. The orange on the mallard feet just pop!
