Perch of 2007- 2008!

I figured since walleyes got theirs perch should have a go at it too. Let see some of them jumbos

Team Otter, Ya gotta love the prairie lakes in eastern SD. Seems everything grows so fast and plentiful out here! Kinda makes it hard to study at times!

Had tons of fun this past weekend on Lake Sarah in SW MN chasing jumbo perch. Many fish in that 10 - 12" class but some pushing 13.5" too.

Here are a couple of good ones...

Man, those are some dandy perch. I wish we has some that size around here. Always nice to pull a JUMBO up the hole. Keep it up guys and catch some for me! LOL

LOL! When the ice comes off its all flatties for me, but you know how hard them big flatties are to get through an 8" hole in the ice! Guess them jumbos will have to do for now!

Hey fish-n-guy, do you go around the Webster Area? Myself and at least one other buddy are headed their this weekend.

Ya I do some fishin around Webster every once and A while. Its a good area for perch and eyes. If you want jumbos on Waubay this weekend try out the duck island area and east. lots of jumbos around there but many walleyes to contend with. 3:00pm to dark prime perch bite then its all eyes after dark.

Wow its been a tough bite this past week for all fishing in general! I guess that super cold weather kinda had its way with the perch and eyes around here! I managed to get a few for the frying pan yesterday and today in the few hours I got in but finicky would be an understatement!

They look delicious and one question how big was that crappodile? I know I am supposed to comment on the perch.

I am not sure how big he was. my guess is probly around 13" being that those larger perch were around 11". Yum...yum!!

Man, those are are nice fish. Sure nice to see someone catching fish through this cold snap.
