What lure(s) have you, or would you, guys use to catch 50+ inch muskies. Lets go top 3 picks.

Call me obsessive... I dont care... but here's my top three:

1. Pink/Pink Double Cowgirl... caught my first-ever on this one... enuff said...

2. Black/Nickel Double Cowgirl... lost two potential new personal bests... both times left the lure totally BENT out of whack...

3. Rainbow Double Cowgirl... lost three muskies... one left this lure bent but not as bad as what the black/nickel went thru...

Cowgirls and Bulldawgs. The same thing every other guy throws in MN. One night on Mille Lacs this year we were fishing Vineland after dark, and it was pretty funny cuz all you heard was #10 blades clanking around the bay. They work though

Have to agree with DUCKJ on this one ......time spent in the water compared to fish caught the Weagle was #1, hands down, last year's show color loon pattern was lights out. Mostly early and late in the day, as is often typical with topwater.

Bulldawgs did produce as did double 10s, and on the lighter side Candy Spins, the KT Krook was cool too, whole lotta wake!

lindy rigs tip with fathead trollin for walleye. heard plenty of report of 50+ being caught on those rigs.

I caught one 50"+ and it was on Mepps Musky Marabou -- Sliver and Black with a white grub.

I have lost a couple on a big Eagle Tail

My big fish lure is slammer's Thunderhead topwater bait. I got a 51" on this bait and alot between 42' to 48" on this lure. Also hellhounds seem to catch bigger fish for me.
