Deer:30

Usually, deer:30 in our yard in winter is just before dark, but today they were coming in earlier, so I hopped out on the deck and let a couple come right in. They saw me and smelled me and didn't really care. They were more interested in watching the neighbor's golden retriever pup.

All with the Canon DRebel XT and Canon 100-400 at various focal lengths, all iso200, f8, 1/60 to 1/125, handheld

I agree with the others, great series of shots Steve. I really did have to laugh at that last shot and Ken's comment.

She almost looks like a statue in the 3rd one. I also like how her ears are pointed forward, like she trying to listen for something. You can tell that she really doesn't care if you're there.

I like the second to last one best. Her facial expression makes her look confused.
