First shot with my 30D and 100-400 lens.

I didn't really want to take the camera and new lens out in the blowing snow today, so I just opened the door and stuck the lens out and shot. This was handheld with the Canon 30D, ISO 640, F7.1 and 1/320 sec. at 400mm.

Nice Mike!...squirrel doesn't seem to mind the snowstorm......maybe he didn't watch the weather channel ...don't think the squirrel cares about a little snow...got a case of "corn cob focus"
